The most recent Hillsdale Neighborhood Emergency Team (NET) meeting was January 26 at the Watershed. William Warren of the Portland Office of Emergency Management and Stefanie Adams of Southwest Crime Prevention trained the 21 people in attendance as trainers for the of. These people are now ready to train small groups of neighbors interested in how to prepare for emergencies and prevent crime. We encourage everyone interested in preventing landslides in Southwest Portland to attend the Landslide Risk Reduction Meeting on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the OHSU Campus, Old Library Auditorium, 3181 SW Sam Jackson Park Road. It is hosted by the Portland Office of Emergency Management and the Oregon Department of Geology and Mineral Industries.
