October Action Items
Glenn Bridger moved that HNA raise no objection to the granting of the Verde Cocina liquor license request. Seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
Don Baack made a motion to oppose the vacation of SW Falcon Street. Seconded. The motion passed unanimously. A letter drafted by Don and Glenn Bridger will be sent to President Mikal Apenes for his editing and will then be sent to the City explaining HNA’s opposition.
Michael Reunert moved that the HNA President send a letter of thanks on behalf of the organization, and that a line-drawing of the library be presented to Virginia Tribe to commemorate her years of service to Hillsdale as director of the Hillsdale Library. The motion was seconded and passed unanimously. Rick Seifert, editor of the online “Hillsdale News”, said that his newspaper will pay for the line-drawing for Virginia.
Don Baack moved that the Hillsdale Neighborhood Association support SW Trails PDX in applying for a grant to publicize the Red Electric Route and Project. The motion was seconded and passed unanimously.
